There is no football team with a history quite like that of Ipswich Town. It’s an old club (founded in 1878) but also a young one (turned pro in 1938). Much of the Tractor Boys’ history has been spent in the second tier, but they have a league title, an FA Cup and even a European trophy to their name.

This book tells the story of this club’s professional era by taking fans on a trip back in time, through authentic newspaper reports from the team’s most historic moments.
