The history of the Cleveland Browns is, to no small extent, the history of the fans. The Dawg Pound know how to show loyalty and they know how to treasure the good times. This book is all about those good times – a compilation of authentic newspaper reports on the best days for the Browns, from 1946 through to recent seasons.

Washington Post reporters take fans back to the years of the AAFC in the 40s. With stars like Otto Graham, Marion Motley and Lou Groza, the Orange and Brown were so good that the league literally couldn’t survive their dominance. 

There are NFL titles to read about in the 50s and 60s, some satisfying triumphs over the Steelers and Ravens, and tales from the modern era – when the fans were the real stars of the show.
